My best friend was Dan’s cousin and she introduced us.

What is your happiest childhood memory?
Summer vacations with my family at Indian River, Delaware

What committees are you on at Olivet?
Session; Christian Education Committee; Praise Team; Memorial Committee; and Senior High Youth Group Leader.

Tell us about yourself.
I am a wife and mother. I love kids and work at a school cafeteria. I am a born again Christian who still struggles every day with my sinful nature. Thank you Lord, for your saving grace.

What is one thing about you that would surprise everyone at Olivet?
I always wanted to be a dancer. (I can’t dance a lick!)

If you could meet any person, alive or dead, who would it be?
Jesus

If you could instantly acquire any skill, what would it be and why?
Music Composition and theory. It would enhance my contribution to Worship.

What is the worst job you ever had? And what didn’t you like about it?
Telephone Operator. People tend to be rude when you are not face to face.

What is the most disgusting thing you’ve ever eaten?
Brussel spouts!

Describe a relaxing day.
Sunshine, a good book, a cup of coffee and good music.

Knowing that God has forgiven me and one day I will be in Heaven.

Do you believe there is intelligent life on other plants? Why or why not?
It seems hard to imagine that we are the only humans in this universe but the Bible says we are. God said it and I believe it.

Where and when was your last vacation?
Two years ago. Our son’s wedding in Indiana. We then went to Kentucky to visit my brother-in-law. It was a wonderful trip.

What cheers you up when you are sad?
Loved ones, praise music and loving, Christian friends.

What restaurants do you enjoy going to?
Outback Steakhouse, , Ruby Tuesday’s and Italian Village.

What is the last good book you’ve read?
The DaVinci Code

What would you tell a guest about Olivet to convince them to come back again?
We have a loving congregation that really wants you to get to know the Lord. We would love to have you as part of our family.
